Dog Agility Training
The growing sport of dog agility is enjoyed by hundreds of dogs and handlers around the country. Barndy Dog Training School offers an opportunity to train your dog (providing that the dog is fit, healthy and not overweight) to negotiate the obstacles of an agility course.
Agility Classes
A Beginners course of five weeks is offered and these courses are run on a regular basis throughout the year - all courses are supervised by Agility Club Approved Instructors. The minimum age for dogs to start training is 12 months and they must have basic obedience, i.e. sit, down, wait and recall. For the more experienced dog handler there is the opportunity to train regularly with other handlers who are happy to share their trials and triumphs with you in a pleasant atmosphere. Advice is always available or any problems your dog might be experiencing - the emphasis is on FUN. Don't think you have to achieve competition standard for both you and your dog to enjoy agility.
